Judy Hall calls it the stone of unconditional love mentioning its ability to heal the healer. Melody, in Love is in the Earth, emphasizes Prehnite’s strength as a facilitator of intuitive knowing—she claims its use in the “activity of prediction should not be taken lightly” (322). All of this points to Prehnite’s connection with the Third Eye or sixth chakra—the energy center that supports our capacity to visualize and understand both mental concepts and the need for personal growth.
Prehnite: This sea green stone is primarily transparent and commonly found with dendrites, which are dark green plant-like occlusions within the stone, or delicate striations of black tourmaline. It is believed that Prehnite invites harmony and balance—this explains its use as a “Feng Shui” stone—supporter of organized spaces, ordered thought process, and uncluttered communication. Many note its usefulness in meditation and in receiving intuitive guidance claiming Prehnite facilitates connections with other dimensions while imparting a protective barrier to unwanted energies. An excellent Heart Chakra Stone.

Tourmaline: Tourmaline is one of the most complex and intricate of all the minerals and gemstones found in the world, and is created by dozens of different elements. Tourmaline is a great example of what the shamans and healers of the world have known for a long time. It continues to be valued for its spiritual and mystical properties but it has many industrial, scientific and technological uses as well. One of the attributes of Tourmaline is that it can induce electrical charges. Just like a battery, Tourmaline can also have the attribute of pyroelectricity, which is the ability to generate a temporary voltage when it is heated or cooled, producing an effect where one end of the mineral has a negative charge and the opposite end has a positive charge. For instance we now have Tourmaline hair dryers, because tourmaline emits negative ions.
Tourmaline, is an exceptional gemstone. It comes in every color under the sun and effects people in many different ways. Some of the well known colors are blues, yellows, reds, browns, greens, purples, pinks, black, etc.
My first experience with Tourmaline was a bracelet of Green Tourmaline, it broke within the first week. I fixed the bracelet two more times, then I lost it. I then bought a pair of Green Tourmaline earrings and promptly lost those, I loved them so much I found a different pair. I also lost those. To this day I very rarely lose things, but I found that I just couldn't keep or wear any Dark Green Tourmaline. Gregory has the same issue with Lapis. Different colors of Tourmaline resonate with different people.
Black Tourmaline is linked with the Root Chakra. An excellent grounding stone. it is used for protection before most other stones. It deflects negative energy.

Unakite: Unakite is a combination of pink feldspar, green epidote and quartz and a great stone for calming release. A helps with a good reproductive and balance. Personal re-birth, foresight, emotional balance, release blockages. Healing usage: Reproductive system, healthy pregnancy. It is a useful Sacral Chakra Stone and also resonates with the Heart Chakra.
